Events at Cliffe Castle

Kate Lycett’s exhibition of paintings and stories entitled ‘Lost Houses of the South Pennines’ has been on display at the Cliffe Castle, Keighley gallery (first floor balcony) since 11 February. We’ve heard very positive accounts of the exhibition but it is only available for another six weeks, closing on 23 April. Kate has drawn on photographs, and other research, to allow us to see some great houses as they were in their prime. We believe this is the last public exhibition of her paintings before they go to their new owners.

The FoBAGaM trustees have been invited to hold the Friends’ AGM at Cliffe Castle this year. Much more information will be circulated nearer the time but it’s not too early to put Sunday 17th September 2017, 12.30 -3.00 pm in your diaries. As well as necessary business we hope to be addressed by Michael Scarborough of the Cliffe Castle Friends, and by one of the museum staff.
